Design By The Hour

A room that feels good is more than the sum of its parts. This design service is for people who
just need help with pulling them together. You know which paint colours please you, and you
have your eye on furniture pieces or accessories you wish to purchase. You just need good
guidance in finalising your selections so that everything works in harmony. Studio J is pleased
to assist you and will bill on an hourly rate basis (minimum of two hours applies).

Furniture Design

Studio J works closely with clients to create interiors
to suit their tastes and lifestyle and in many cases this
calls for bespoke furniture pieces. Custom designed
furniture units can be created for a specific space and
with a specific purpose in mind. These pieces are
designed, supplied and installed by skilled local artisans
or, where necessary, by overseas fabricators. Wood,
stone, metal, glass and/or laminate are all options.
Although furniture design is incorporated in most full
service interior design jobs, it can also be billed at an
hourly rate for singular furniture projects as needed by
clients. So if a corner cabinet would solve a small space
challenge or a modern love seat reflects your style, for
example, Studio J is happy to oblige.

Home staging is excellent for real estate agents and homeowners who want to make a for-sale
property stand out from the crowd. Effective staging will make the home or commercial space
more appealing for potential buyers and assist in selling the property faster.
